Areas of Expertise

Dry Needling

Often confused with acupuncture, dry needling is a modern Western technique that is known to alleviate pain as well as improve mobility and function. Dry needling has been known to help with various conditions such as chronic pain, muscle strains, headaches, and neck/back pain. It is also extremely effective with specific diagnosis such as plantar fasciitis, TMJ , lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and more.

Joint Mobilizations

Joint mobilization is a hands-on therapy for numerous musculoskeletal conditions. Joint mobilization involves moving the joint in a specific direction to regain movement.

Cupping

Cupping is an alternative therapy that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. Cupping has been known to help improve blood circulation, relieve muscle tension, and promote cell repair. At Revive, we use various techniques of cupping to promote microcirculation in the injured area which facilitates healing.

Passive & Manual Stretching

Passive and manual stretching is aimed at decreasing muscle pain and improving range of motion.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger point therapy (sometimes called myofascial therapy) is a method that focuses on detecting and releasing trigger points. Trigger points are spots located in the skeletal muscle that produce pain when compressed. A variety of techniques can be used when it comes to trigger points, including massage and dry needling.

Concierge Service

Revive offers concierge service for those who live in select areas in the North Shore.
